With the participation of enterprises linked to Andicom 2008 as sponsors or exhibitors, took place on August 21st at the Windsor House Hotel the exhibitors meeting of Andicom 2008. At the meeting, companies received all the necessary logistics information for their participation in the XXIII National and XIV International Telecommunications Congress, an event that will take place from October 29th to 31st in Cartagena de Indias.

Company representatives had the opportunity to learn first-hand details on the organization of commercial samples, U-City Hall, the Business Forum and the Business Rounds; Andicom 2008 spaces that allow attendees to have a complete technological update and generate business opportunities.

Taking into account that the event is attended by nearly 3 thousand participants from all continents, exhibitors received detailed information on hotels and tourist potential of Cartagena de Indias as well as the official Travel Agencies of the Congress. Alike, the Convention Center presented different technical aspects relating to entry of goods, assembly and rental of equipment for the various stands.

One theme of the meeting was the organization of the Business Forum, which is an academic-commercial activity parallel to the core academic program, in which commercially linked companies to the event present their products and services for the sector, through lectures given by business national and international experts.

Andicom 2008 will take place in Cartagena de Indias between October 29th and 31st. On this occasion, their traditional business and academic forums have ensured the presence of nearly 70 speakers from different continents, there will be held the second version of the Business Rounds of the ICT industry, and as a novelty for commercial displays will be recreated a digital city: U-City, an interactive showroom of services, applications and solutions to build and strength digital cities and lifestyles, organized with the support of the Colombian Ministry of Communications.
