| Instructions on Communications |
On occasion of Andicom International Telecommunications Congress 2008, that
will be carried out in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, from October 29th to 31st, this year, we
recommend participant companies and accredited media to be attentive to the following
instructions.
1. Communications Coordination
All information originated for the media during the event will be managed through the
Communications Coordinating Office.
The Communications Coordinating Office is made up by a team of communication professionals
linked to CINTEL, coordinated by Amilde Frías Rincón, CINTEL’s Project Professional.

The Coordinating Office will keep Andicom’s web page Press Room
www.cintel.org.co,
www.andicom.org.co constantly updated with
information on the Congress themes, the academic program, the business forum, the products of the
companies participating in the commercial exhibitions, official press releases and other activities
of interest for the attendance.
2. Press Accreditations
The Communications Coordinating Office will handle press accreditations directly, for
national, regional and international media that will cover Andicom 2008. Pre- accreditation
requests must be sent to
andicomprensa@cintel.org.co
As Andicom is a closed event, accreditation applications will be studied by the
Communications Committee and acceptance or non acceptance will be confirmed by e-mail. We recommend
journalists and communicators of the agencies of participant companies to get their accreditation
to the event in advance, to avoid inconveniences.
All accreditation credentials will be handed on October 29th at Cartagena de Indias
Convention Center.
3. Press Room
Andicom 2008 has prepared at the Getsemaní Foyer, in the Convention Center, a
Press Room to be used by the accredited media that will operate from October 27th to 31st.
The room will be equipped with computers and Internet, telecommunications, closed television
circuit and an area for interviews and press conferences.
All the information about the development of the Congress will be electronically available
there. Companies that participate in the commercial exhibitors must hand in their information for
the Press Room before October 20th.
The Communications Coordinating Office will receive information from the companies between
August 21st and October 20th to publish it in the different information services of Andicom 2008
and this information must be addressed via e-mail to Olga Garcés González ( ogarces@cintel.org.co) with copy to
andicomprensa@cintel.org.co.
