The Cartagena de Indias Convention Center was inagurated in 1982 for the 18th General Meeting of the Interamerican Development Bank. It is estimated that during the following 17 years it received two million visitors.

Each year the Convention Center recives thousands of visitors from all over the world and from many differentes disciplines. Important events such as Microsoft Goverment Leader Forum and the International Spanish Language Congress, among others.

The Cartagena de Indias Convention Center is an organization specialized in services for high level meetings.
